Standing there and seeing nothing?
- practice. Convention among strong players. Widely followed, but it is not a rule and it can be wrong.Open your own quest log map. If the game draws no marker there, you are not in the phase for it, and that is definitive. Trust the game over us, and tell us in the comments so we can record it.
What To Do
Complete the quest objective shown in your tracker in Zaralek Cavern, then return to the turn-in NPC.
Quest Text
Make no mistake, the djaradin are experienced dragon killers. But right now their ruthless tactics are overshadowed by the devastating power of their battlefield ballistae, capable of taking out any threat from a long distance. I have lost many good soldiers to these potent weapons. It is essential that we destroy the ballistae if we hope to level the playing field and take to the skies. It is possible that we may even be able to gain the upper hand in this war.
Plan the run before you travel
Zaralek Cavern belongs to the The War Within archive. Start with its campaign track if this record is unavailable or the next step is missing.
Check the exact quest giver and turn-in records above first. Use this page's community comments for phase changes, cave entrances, spawn timing, and corrections from the live game.
No group size is listed by Blizzard, so this is usually soloable unless the objective text says otherwise.
Pin the quest in-game, enable objective outlines, then use the exact-title references in the archive for NPC or object coordinates. Add a correction below if the live game differs from this record.
Objectives and map pin
Blizzard's public API publishes a quest's text and rewards but not its objectives, its own level, whether it can be shared, or any map coordinate. Nobody has synced quest 74538 yet, so there is nothing to show here rather than a guess. Running the WowGodSync addon while you play contributes those fields for everyone.
Check it in game
Quest completion is stored per character on Blizzard's side and is not in the public API, so paste this in your chat box and it prints true or false for “Blow It Up” on the character you are logged into.
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(74538))/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompletedOnAccount(74538))A false also comes back for a quest id the client does not know, so it means “not recorded as complete” rather than proof the quest exists on your account.
